Star Chef Host Appears on WCNY TV's Food For Thought
Bill Keeler shows his cooking skills (or lack thereof) on local Show
The daily program, Food For Thought (weekdays on WCNY TV 24), featured Star Chef
Showdown host and radio personality Bill Keeler recently as he prepared his favorite
Greens Morelle (aka Utica Greens). The program, which features local members of the
community cooking their familiar dishes, is hosted by George Kilpatrick and Chris Xaver
(pictured below). Airs weekdays at 12:30 WCNY public television.
Superbowl Episode Comes Down to Tight Finish
Superbowl Sunday, 2008. Packy's Pub vs Rt 69 Steakhouse.
A completely different concept at Daniele's Banquet Facility in New Hartford.
It was a tailgating episode and the chefs cooked in the parking lot at Daniele's.
With judges representing Utica College Hockey (Gary Heenan), Proctor Baseball's
Dave Guido, Para-Olympic Curling Bronze medalist Jimmy Joseph and the UFC's
Matt Hammil, it was a tight finish at the end! By a slim margin, congratulations
to Packy's Pub in Washington Mills, for pulling out the victory.
